Micallef Cigars is adding another color to its lineup, announcing Micallef Orange as the seventh entry in the company’s Color Series.
Orange joins the previously released Black, Blue, Red, Purple, Green, and White cigars, continuing a series that has focused on straightforward names and affordable pricing.
Micallef Orange is rolled at the company’s factory in Estelรญ, Nicaragua, using a Connecticut wrapper over a San Andrรฉs Habano binder and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The company describes the cigar as medium-bodied.
โOrange puts world-class tobacco in a working man’s hand,โ said Dan Thompson, President of Micallef Cigars. โThat’s what Micallef is about โ premium quality, priced for the customer, built to protect our retailers’ margins.โ
The cigar will be offered in two sizes: Robusto (5″ x 52) and Toro (6″ x 52). Pricing is set at $8 and $9 per cigar, respectively, with both formats packaged in boxes of 25.
โWhen you build something with your name on it, you don’t get to have an off day. Orange had to earn its place in the Color Series, and it did. I’m as proud of this one as anything we’ve made โ and I think our Ambassadors are going to feel the same the moment they open a box,โ said Micallef Cigars founder Al Micallef.
Micallef Orange is scheduled to make its first appearance on August 27 through Two Guys Cigars, both in-store and online. A nationwide release will follow on September 5.
As with the other cigars in the Color Series, Micallef Orange will be sold through family-owned brick-and-mortar cigar retailers and their online stores.
