Casa Carrillo has announced Encore Noir II, the second release in its Encore Noir series, with the cigar making its only U.S. debut during a launch weekend at Two Guys Smoke Shop in New Hampshire.

Like its predecessor, Encore Noir II is an international release with a single U.S. retail partner. The launch is scheduled for July 24 and 25, when Ernesto Perez-Carrillo and Ernesto Perez-Carrillo III will appear at Two Guys Smoke Shop alongside a live broadcast of The Cigar Authority.

The cigar is offered in a 6โ…› x 50 Celestial No. 2 vitola and is made entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco, including a Nicaraguan wrapper, binder, and fillers. According to the company, the wrapper leaf spent more than five years aging in bales before production began, a process that also limited the number of cigars that could be produced.

Only 1,500 individually numbered boxes will be made worldwide, with each box containing 10 cigars.

“Encore Noir II represents our continued pursuit of refinement through patience,” said Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. “By allowing these tobaccos the time they needed to mature naturally, we’ve created a cigar with remarkable depth, richness, and elegance that remains unmistakably Encore.”

The original Encore blend was introduced in 2018 and later earned Cigar of the Year honors from Cigar Aficionado. Encore Noir II continues that line with a darker interpretation while maintaining an all-Nicaraguan blend.
