On two occasions we’ve seen ordinary turtles go full-on psychedelic, but now it’s time to see what the rabbit can do… introducing the Psychedelic Rabbit from Espinosa and Cigar Dojo.
UPDATE: Psychedelic Rabbit cigars are now officially sold out. Kicking off at 12pm Eastern on Friday, 6/5/2026, the sale lasted only 28 minutes from start to finish, marking one of the Dojo’s fastest-selling collaborations to date.
The Psychedelic Turtle debuted in 2019, being followed by the cult-classic Psychedelic Turtle II in 2021. With the Psychedelic Rabbit release, the blend holds truer to the Psychedelic Turtle II, being rolled out of A.J. Fernández’s San Lotano factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua. The interior blend is the same, including a binder from Jalapa and all-Nicaraguan fillers from the Condega, Ometepe, and Jalapa regions of the country. And while the wrapper remains Mexican San Andrés, we’ve opted for a lighter claro shade (as opposed to the maduro shade of the Turtle II), making for a familiar experience yet with a brighter tone.
This project has been limited to 300 bundles of 10 cigars, being offered exclusively through JR Cigar while supplies remain.
