El Mago Cigars has announced the next two entries in its ongoing Collectible Tin Series, introducing JUG and Cavalry as the third and fourth releases in the limited project.
According to the company, the first wave of both cigars will begin shipping within the next two to three weeks to a select group of S-Tier retailers. The invite-only network includes fewer than 40 accounts nationwide and receives early access to limited El Mago releases.
The Collectible Tin Series first launched earlier this year as a small-batch project centered around compact packaging and limited distribution. Like the previous releases, both new cigars are packaged in reusable five-count tins.
JUG is a 5 x 50 box-pressed robusto featuring a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder and Nicaraguan fillers. El Mago describes the cigar as full-bodied, highlighting notes of sweet cacao, dark roasted coffee, and Nicaraguan spice. Production takes place at MGE (Mighty God Enterprise) in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Cavalry uses a Corojo wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Also sized at 5 x 50 in a box-pressed robusto format, the blend is positioned on the medium-bodied side with flavor notes described as nuttiness, oak, and sweet berries. Like JUG, the cigar is produced at MGE in Estelí.
El Mago says any additional availability beyond the initial S-Tier rollout will be announced at a later date.
