Drew Estate has announced a leadership shift that includes Founder and President Jonathan Drew Sann moving into the newly created role of Chief Innovation Officer, while Andrew Duncan joins the company as Senior Vice President of Marketing.

Jonathan Drew will remain President of Drew Estate while taking on the new CIO role, which the company says will focus on long-term strategy, product development, and new business opportunities. The newly formed Innovation Department will work on projects tied to Drew Estateโ€™s core areas of innovation, brand development, and consumer engagement.

Recent examples of that direction include the companyโ€™s newly announced Drew Dominicana factory in the Dominican Republic and the launch of J.SANN & SON, its new retail division.

โ€œWe are asking Jonathan to engage his visionary roots and create multidimensional cultural and business adjacencies that will help shape the future of Drew Estate,โ€ said CEO Glenn Wolfson. โ€œThis is a momentous occasion in Drew Estateโ€™s history, and one weโ€™ll surely look back at as the beginning of a whole new chapter.โ€

Jonathan Drew added, โ€œWhen I think about my work-life today, Iโ€™m focusing on the long-term legacy of Drew Estateโ€”all of the stakeholders in the USA, Nica, and now the Dominican Republicโ€”the people who give their heart and soul to make us better.โ€

Drew Estate also announced the hiring of Andrew Duncan as its new SVP of Marketing. Duncan joins from The Sazerac Company, where he most recently served as Global Head of Brand Marketing for its bourbon and American whiskey portfolio. Before that, he held senior marketing roles at Procter & Gamble.

At Drew Estate, Duncan will oversee brand management, consumer engagement, digital marketing, and global creative, while also working alongside Jonathan Drew to support the companyโ€™s innovation initiatives.

โ€œAs anyone internally at Drew Estate can tell you, filling this position has been a very challenging search,โ€ said Wolfson. โ€œWe set the bar extremely high with exacting requirementsโ€ฆ We are confident weโ€™ve found the right leader for the job with Andrew.โ€
