Luciano Cigars is adding a new regular-production cigar to its lineup with the release of The Maker, set to debut at PCA 2026.
The cigar continues the company’s ongoing theme-driven approach, following releases like The Traveler and The Dreamer. With The Maker, the focus shifts toward the idea of turning intention into action.
“In any field, there is a clear separation between those who think about doing something and those who actually do it,” said Luciano Meirelles. “That distinction is often overlooked, but it defines outcomes. The Maker was developed with that idea in mind.”
The blend pulls tobaccos from several regions, featuring a Habano Corojo 99 wrapper, Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed and Mexican San Andrés binders, and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The company describes it as medium to full in strength, built with an emphasis on balance and structure.
The Maker will be available in two vitolas:
- Toro (6 x 52) — $12.50 MSRP
- Sublime (6½ x 54) — $12.89 MSRP
Unlike some previous releases tied to specific projects or limited runs, The Maker is intended as a long-term addition to the company’s core portfolio. The cigar is expected to begin shipping to retailers around May 25 following its PCA debut.
