Gran Habano has announced a new cigar called RISE, a project created to recognize and support the Women of the Premium Cigar Association. The release ties into broader efforts within the industry to highlight mentorship, education, and networking opportunities for women working in premium tobacco.

RISE uses an Ecuadorian Sun-grown Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan Habano binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The company describes the profile as medium-bodied with a balanced character.

The cigar will be showcased at PCA 2026 in New Orleans, with shipping expected to begin after May 1, 2026. Production is set at 20,000 cigars, though it is not classified as a limited edition.

According to Gran Habano, proceeds from the project will go toward supporting the Women of PCA and its initiatives within the industry.
