Apostate Cigars is heading into PCA 2026 with a mix of new products and updates to its existing lineup, including a first-ever cigarillo, a limited production release, and a packaging expansion.

The most notable addition is The Lost Pages, a cigarillo that marks the companyโ€™s first step into machine-made cigars. According to the company, the blend uses leftover tobacco from its premium lines, repurposed into a shorter format designed for a quicker smoking experience. The cigars are being produced at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic in collaboration with Jochy Blanco and are expected to ship shortly after the trade show.

โ€œA cigarillo built from the bones of our best work. Twenty minutes, full character, no filler – well, great filler. You know what we mean.โ€ โ€” Brandon Oveson, Co-Founder, Apostate Cigars

Also debuting is Death Mask, a limited release produced at Tabacalera Oveja Negra in Estelรญ, Nicaragua. This marks Apostateโ€™s first project outside of Tabacalera Palma. The cigar features a San Andrรฉs wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler and will be limited to 250 boxes. Distribution will prioritize retailers attending PCA, with a broader release planned for later in 2026.

โ€œThe Death Mask marks a significant milestone for Apostate, coinciding with our 5th Anniversary as a company. It also represents a consummation of our special partnership with the Oveja Negra family.โ€ โ€” Kendrick Woolstenhulme, Co-Founder, Apostate Cigars

In addition to the new cigars, Apostate is updating its core line packaging by introducing a 20-count box option alongside its existing 12-count bundles. The blends themselves remain unchanged, with the move aimed at giving retailers more flexibility in how the cigars are displayed and sold.

โ€œThe blends havenโ€™t changed. The construction hasnโ€™t changed. We just gave the presentation a little facelift. The cigar was always doing the heavy lifting anyway.โ€ โ€” Brandon Oveson, Co-Founder, Apostate Cigars

All three updates are scheduled to be showcased at the PCA Trade Show in New Orleans, with orders opening during the event.
