Patina is expanding its Red Pill line with a new vitola, offering a different take on the blend that debuted in a box-pressed format which showed up on the Dojo’s year-end list.
The new release comes in a 6 x 52 parejo, marking the first time the Red Pill blend will be available in a traditional round format. Up until now, the line has been limited to box-pressed sizes.
โThe introductory vitolas of the Red Pill line were in a box press format which was a first for Patina. The cigar nerd in me loves to see how the same blend smokes in different formats and so I decided to release it in a parejo format so Patina consumers can experience it as well.โ
The blend remains consistent with the original Red Pill release, featuring a Mexican San Andrรฉs Oscuro wrapper over a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and fillers from the United States and Nicaragua.
The cigars will be packaged in boxes of 20 with a suggested retail price of $14 per cigar. While the release is tied to PCA 2026, shipping is expected to begin in the first week of April.
