Micallef Cigars is adding a new offering to its portfolio with the introduction of Color Blend Bundles, a line built from the same tobaccos used in the companyโs Color Series.
The bundles include two sizes: the #2, a 6 x 52 toro priced at $5 per cigar, and the 660, a 6 x 60 gordo priced at $6.60. Both feature a Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler made up of select tobaccos generated during the production of the Color Series at Micallefโs factory in Estelรญ, Nicaragua.
According to the company, these cigars utilize cuts and trimmings created during the rolling process of its regular production cigars, allowing the brand to repurpose tobacco that would otherwise go unused.
โEvery Color Series cigar we roll generates excellent tobacco that deserves to be smoked, not wasted,โ said Dan Thompson, President of Micallef Cigars. โWe wrap it in a premium wrapper and binder, hand-roll it in the same factory, and provide our retail partners a five-dollar cigar or $100 20-count bundle they can be proud to recommend.โ
Micallef is also launching a promotional contest tied to the release. Dubbed #HoldMyAsh, the contest challenges smokers to post the longest ash achieved with the cigars, with a $1,000 gift certificate awarded to the winner.
โPeople say mixed-fill cigars canโt hold an ash. Most canโt. Ours can. Light one up and see for yourself โ weโre putting a thousand dollars behind it with the #HoldMyAsh contest,โ said Al Micallef, Founder of Micallef Cigars.
The Color Blend Bundles are scheduled to debut at the 2026 PCA Trade Show in New Orleans, with shipments to retailers expected shortly after.
