With the 250th anniversary of American independence approaching, JRE Tobacco is preparing a limited-edition release under its Aladino brand titled the Aladino Declaration.
The cigar is scheduled to ship in June 2026 and will be produced at Fabrica de Puros Aladino in Honduras. Blend details remain undisclosed, though the company says the cigar is made entirely from JRE Tobacco-grown leaf.
The release comes in a single 6 x 52 toro vitola and will be packaged in 13-count boxes. The number is intended as a reference to the original 13 colonies.
Presentation plays a central role in the project. The exterior of the box features the 13-colony American flag, while the inside lid displays the current United States flag. Printed inside the lid is a passage from the Declaration of Independence:
โWe hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.โ
Pricing is set at $15 per cigar, or $195 per box. Pre-orders are expected to begin in March ahead of the June ship date.
