Crowned Heads is adding new sizes to its Blood Medicine B-Positive line for 2026, expanding what began as a single-vitola release into a broader limited edition offering.
The B-Positive blend debuted previously as a toro, but the company says the cigar will now be produced in three formats for the 2026 release. The expansion keeps the same core blend concept while giving smokers more options when it comes to size.
The Blood Medicine series takes its name from a historic Nashville pharmacy slogan. For the B-Positive version, Crowned Heads swapped the wrapper used on the original Blood Medicine blend for a Nicaraguan Corojo leaf. The cigar uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed binder and Nicaraguan fillers.
According to the company, the change in wrapper pushes the blend toward a darker flavor profile that includes cocoa, espresso, leather, and earth.
โB-Positive was born from experimentation to push the Blood Medicine blend into new territoryโdarker, meatier, more intense,โ said Crowned Heads president Jon Huber. โThe response to the initial Toro release in 2025 was overwhelming, and expanding to three sizes allows more of our loyalists to experience this powerful expression in formats that fit different occasions and preferences.โ
Production of Blood Medicine B-Positive LE 2026 is limited to 800 boxes of each size. The cigars are produced at the TacaNicsa factory in Estelรญ, Nicaragua under the supervision of Eradio Pichardo.
Shipping is expected to begin toward the end of the month.
