Black Star Line Cigars has announced a new limited release named Eugene Bullard, scheduled to debut at the 2026 PCA Convention & Trade Show.

The cigar is named after Eugene Bullard, who was born in 1895 and is recognized as the first Black combat fighter pilot. Bullard served with France during World War I and had an unusual life that included time as a professional boxer before his military service. His story later became associated with perseverance and breaking barriers during an era when opportunities were limited.

Black Star Line says the cigar was created as a tribute to that history.

โ€œEugene Bullardโ€™s story is one of perseverance and groundbreaking achievement,โ€ said the team at Black Star Line Cigars. โ€œWe wanted to create a cigar that honors his legacy while continuing our mission to tell powerful stories through premium cigars.โ€

The cigar is produced at La Zona and uses a Mexican San Andrรฉs wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. It is offered in a 5.5 x 46 vitola.

Production is limited to 200 bundles, each containing 10 cigars. Pricing is set at $13.50 per cigar. Attendees of the PCA Trade Show will be able to see the release at the companyโ€™s booth during the event.
