Since debuting the Serie M in 2021, Cohiba has used the annual release as a platform to spotlight small-batch craftsmanship, partnering with El Titan de Bronze in Miami’s Little Havana for each installment. The 2025 edition, Serie M Reserva Azul, marks the fifth release in the series and the second year in which the brand has opted for a fully new blend rather than a simple size adjustment. Rolled exclusively in a 6″ x 52 toro, the cigar features a Dominican Corojo wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder from Estelí, with fillers of Nicaraguan viso and ligero from Jalapa and Estelí alongside Dominican Piloto Cubano. It is also the first Serie M to use a Dominican wrapper, setting it apart from its predecessors visually and in character, with a blue-accented band reflecting the Azul (Spanish for Blue) name. On the palate, the profile leans medium-bodied and structured, with a deliberate character that highlights the skill of El Titan de Bronze’s torcedores. The Azul opens with fresh cedar and cabinet spice before settling into roasted nuts, light earth, and toasted bread on the back end. A creamy undertone carries through the middle portion, helping soften the sharper edges and keeping the experience balanced from start to finish.
