Black Works Studio has announced the release of Hawaii Hornet, a new cigar produced exclusively for R. Field Wine Co. The cigar is handcrafted at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua and will be available at R. Field Wine Co. in Honolulu.

Hawaii Hornet joins the brand’s Hawaii-exclusive projects and features a multi-wrapper presentation using Ecuadorian Maduro, Candela, and Connecticut tobaccos over an Ecuador Habano binder with Nicaraguan fillers. The release comes in a 5 x 50 robusto format, packaged in 10-count boxes.

“The Hawaiian Hornet is definitely a favorite of the R.Field Hawaii series. Its big, bold and intense profile represents not only Black Works Studio but the smokers of Hawaii as well. This cigar is spice forward with layers of complexity and a long finish. The profile is what you would expect from our Hawaiian exclusives; rich, dark and earthy with a complex blend of spices on the retrohale,” said James Brown, creator of Black Works Studio and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.

Hawaii Hornet carries an MSRP of $11.50 per cigar and is made in Nicaragua at Black Works Studio’s Fabrica Oveja Negra facility.
