United Cigars has announced the return of the Bandolero Firecracker for 2026, continuing the long-running Firecracker series that first debuted in 2006. The Firecracker line is known for its short format and fuse-style head, a design that has become a recurring seasonal release across multiple brands and blends .
The 2026 Bandolero Firecracker is produced in collaboration with Selected Tobacco and follows the core Bandolero blending approach. The cigar features fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Peru, an Ecuadorian binder, and a dark Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper sourced from the fifth priming. The wrapper is the same tobacco traditionally used for the Bandolero Aventureros line. The cigar measures 3½ x 50 and retains the recognizable Firecracker shape.
According to United Cigars, the 2026 edition underwent two years of post-roll aging prior to its planned release.
“United Firecrackers are about our nation’s tradition reimagined in tobacco,” said Oliver Nivaud, Director of Operations for United Cigars. “The Bandolero Firecracker 2026 is the culmination of two years of patient post-roll aging, and it delivers everything you could expect from a legend like Nelson Alfonso.”
The Bandolero Firecracker 2026 will ship in cedar aging boxes of 20 cigars, with a suggested retail price of $9 per cigar. Distribution is expected to begin in late summer 2026 and will be limited to United Firecracker retailers nationwide after the aging process is completed.
