Fratello Cigars is wrapping up its long-running Concealed Carry series with the introduction of AA 1935, the sixth and final entry in the limited-production line. The release draws its name from a moment in American history—specifically the formation of Alcoholics Anonymous in 1935, a time when the country was settling back into old habits following the end of Prohibition.
According to Fratello founder Omar de Frias, the theme behind AA 1935 isn’t meant as commentary on indulgence itself, but rather the tension between self-control and excess. “The AA 1935 is not a celebration of vice or restraint — it’s a study of balance,” de Frias said. “This cigar reflects that duality — indulgence tempered by introspection.”
AA 1935 is rolled in a 5 ½ x 54 Robusto format and follows the series’ established model: small batch production, limited to 1,000 canisters containing twelve cigars each. Pricing is set at $10 per cigar. As with past Concealed Carry releases, the blend remains undisclosed.
With AA 1935, Fratello closes the book on a series that has historically leaned into narrative themes as much as flavor profiles, offering smokers a concept-driven project that now reaches its planned conclusion.
