Lost & Found Cigars is preparing to ship its latest release, The Layover, to retailers on Wednesday, October 8th.
The Layover is a compact 4.25″ x 54 box-pressed cigar designed with travel in mind. Robert Caldwell explained the inspiration behind the project, saying:
“I’m always traveling but don’t like the majority of smaller cigars on the market. I love our Manzanitas but sometimes want the handfeel of a full-size cigar. The Layover is something I built for myself: A big-cigar experience in a short-time format. It smokes way bigger than it is.”
The blend features a Dominican Negrito Añejado wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Dominican/Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. Each box contains 20 cigars, priced at $252.
Production was handled at Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic, with only 3,000 cigars rolled (150 boxes in total), making this a limited release.
