Plasencia Cigars is bringing its Cosecha 151 line to the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) in a brand-new format. The company announced that the Cosecha 151 – 2025 TAA Exclusive Salomón will make its official debut during this year’s TAA gathering, taking place October 26–30 at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic.

The cigar arrives in a 6 x 54 Salomón size and will be available only through participating TAA retailers. Like the rest of the Cosecha 151 line, the blend is a Honduran puro crafted from tobaccos harvested during the 2016–2017 growing season—marking the Plasencia family’s 151st consecutive crop. Production takes place at the company’s factory in Danlí, Honduras.

According to Plasencia, the Cosecha 151 series is only produced from exceptional vintage harvests, emphasizing depth and balance. The blend is described as medium-to-full bodied, featuring notes of roasted coffee, pecans, and dark chocolate, rounded by hints of prunes, cinnamon, and oak.

Néstor Andrés Plasencia, fifth-generation family member, said:

“Cosecha represents the soul of Honduras. To share this blend in such a commanding format with our TAA partners is both a privilege and a celebration of the land, our artisans, and the loyalty of those who appreciate the quality of Honduran tobacco.”

The line has drawn plenty of attention over the past year, earning “Best Brand Honduras 2025” at the Cigar Trophy Awards and recognition from several publications including Cigar Aficionado, Cigar Snob, and CigarsLover Magazine.

The Cosecha 151 – 2025 TAA Exclusive Salomón is priced at $21 per cigar and $210 per 10-count box, with availability limited to TAA member retailers.
