Selected Tobacco has revealed plans for a limited Collector’s Edition release at Industrial Cigars in Frisco, Texas, scheduled for October 18, 2025. The launch coincides with two milestones: the fifth anniversary of the world’s first Atabey Lounge and the Alfonso family’s 175 years in tobacco.
The release consists of 200 numbered travel humidors, each containing ten extra-aged cigars made specifically for this project. The collection includes five Atabey Ritos (6 1/8 x 55) and five Alfonso Añejo No. 3 (6 x 54), both aged beyond the standard five-year post-roll process that defines Selected Tobacco’s portfolio.
The humidor itself features sun-washed white and ocean-blue lacquer, gold trim, and a built-in humidification system. Each piece is individually numbered and priced at $600, available exclusively through Industrial Cigars.
Founder Nelson Alfonso and his son, Fabio Alfonso, will attend the event to present the collection in person. Industrial Cigars co-owner Dave Frakes said, “This project is important to me because it transcends the cigar business. It’s about our families coming together to celebrate two milestones: five years as the world’s first Atabey Private Lounge and the Alfonso family’s 175 years in tobacco. Our relationship with Nelson has always been bigger than cigars, we are family.”
