Maya Selva Cigars has appointed Luc Hyvernat as its new Executive Vice President, according to a company announcement dated June 29, 2025.
Hyvernat brings with him a background in wine, spirits, and tobacco, which the company notes will support its efforts in expanding the reach of its cigar lines—Flor de Selva, Cumpay, and Villa Zamorano—around the globe.
Described by the company as “an epicurean at heart and a strategist in action,” Hyvernat is expected to help shape the next phase of Maya Selva Cigars’ development, combining an appreciation for handmade cigars with a focus on both tradition and innovation.
Founded in 1995 by Franco-Honduran entrepreneur Maya Selva, the company currently distributes its cigars in more than 35 countries.
