Lure Cigars announced the release of their new Fish Stix cigar, a box-pressed Rothschild designed for portability and convenience. Based in Tallahassee, Florida, the company aims to bring cigar enthusiasts together with a focus on quality and accessibility.

The Fish Stix features a Nicaraguan Habano 2000 wrapper, an Esteli Ligero binder, and a filler blend of Ometepe Ligero, Esteli, and Jalapa tobaccos. Described as medium-full in strength, the cigar offers flavors of dark roast coffee, leather, baking spices, and a hint of black peppercorn on the retrohale. The 4.25 x 46 vitola is packaged in resealable 5-packs with Boveda humidification, priced at an MSRP of $8.00 per cigar or $40.00 per pack.

โ€œThe packs are designed for convenience and portability. Each 5-pack of cigars is resealable and is the perfect size to toss in your tackle box, center console, or golf bag,โ€ said Lou Cross, owner of Lure Cigars.

Originally tested as a parejo in limited quantities last year, the Fish Stix transitioned to a box-pressed format due to demand. The new shape slightly adjusts the flavor profile with less filler while retaining the blendโ€™s core components. This annual limited release will begin shipping to retailers the week of May 23, 2025, and is distributed by Valacari Cigars.
