Lampert Cigars announced changes to its Nicaragua 1675 Series (Azul, Rojo, Morado) for the U.S. market, focusing on packaging and portfolio adjustments. The series will shift from 20-count boxes to 10-count boxes, each paired with a matching branded carton box, a design already in use internationally since 2024. Additionally, each cigar will now feature a footband labeled with the line nameโAzul, Rojo, or Moradoโto enhance brand visibility.
The company will streamline the U.S. offerings to only the Toro size, discontinuing the Robusto and Short Robusto vitolas, though these will remain available in international markets. A price increase of $0.50 per cigar MSRP will also take effect, attributed to the new packaging and import tariffs.
“We’re excited to bring a more refined and retail-optimized presentation to our U.S. partners,” said Dr. Stefan Lampert, founder of Lampert Cigars.
