Espinosa Premium Cigars has introduced the Knuckle Sandwich Puro Nicaragua, a new addition to its core Knuckle Sandwich lineup. This release marks the brand’s first cigar made entirely with Nicaraguan tobacco, crafted at the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua.

The Knuckle Sandwich series, previously recognized for its Connecticut, Habano, and Maduro varieties, now includes this all-Nicaraguan blend. The Puro Nicaragua features a Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro wrapper, paired with a Nicaraguan binder and filler, offering a full-bodied smoke with notes of spice and complexity.

“This one’s special,” said Erik Espinosa. “We’ve worked with Nicaraguan tobacco for years, but this is the first time we’ve gone all Nicaraguan. It’s got strength, flavor, and that unmistakable spice note that runs through the entire smoke. It’s a true puro, and for sure a true Knuckle Sandwich.”

Available in 20-count boxes, the Knuckle Sandwich Puro Nicaragua comes in three sizes: Robusto (5 x 52), Toro (6 x 54), and Gordo (6 x 60). The cigars will be presented at the Premium Cigar Association’s Trade Show in New Orleans from April 12th to 14th, with shipping to select retailers expected to follow shortly after.
