Emilio Cigars announced the upcoming release of their Limited Edition STATIC, set to debut at this year’s PCA trade show in New Orleans. The cigar is produced at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua, under the guidance of James Brown, master blender and owner of Black Label Trading Co. (BLTC) and the factory.
The STATIC features a blend with dual wrappers—Ecuador Corojo and Ecuador Maduro—paired with an Ecuador Habano binder and Nicaraguan filler. Brown described the cigar’s profile, stating, “Like the Audiophile, Static goes outside the usual Emilio profile and shakes things up. This cigar is bold, spice forward and very unique. The dual wrappers create a complex and balanced profile.” Available in two sizes, the Robusto (5×48) and Toro (6×50), the cigars will ship immediately following the trade show.
