El Rey del Mundo, a long-standing name in the cigar industry, is set to release a new full-time blend called Appointment. Produced at the HATSA factory in Honduras, this cigar combines Nicaraguan and Ecuadorian tobacco with a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, wrapped in a Cameroon seed wrapper grown at the Aladino farm in Honduras. The blend aims to offer a medium-strength smoke with herbal notes of mild pepper, caramel, and cedar.

Senior brand manager Ed Lahmann commented, โ€œEl Rey del Mundo Appointment is blended for the cigar lover who understands the importance of choosing the right cigar for the right occasion. Itโ€™s about taking the time to select and enjoy the perfect cigar. And for us, El Rey del Mundo Appointment is that perfect cigar.โ€ Suggested pairings include doppelbock beer, medium roast coffee, or bourbon.

The Appointment line will be available in three sizes: Robusto (5 x 50) at $8.79 per cigar, Toro (6 x 54) at $9.19 per cigar, and Gordo (6.5 x 60) at $9.49 per cigar. Shipping to retailers is scheduled to begin on April 14, 2025. With a history of crafting cigars for decades, El Rey del Mundo continues to expand its offerings with this latest release.
