Diesel is set to launch two new limited-edition cigars on May 1, each crafted at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. The Diesel Founder’s Collection Raceking and the Diesel Backyard Barbecue Series Pulled Pork aim to capture distinct cultural inspirations, offering cigar enthusiasts fresh options for the season.

The Raceking, part of the ongoing collaboration with Rabbit Hole Whiskey, draws from Kentucky’s bourbon and horse racing heritage. It features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder aged in Raceking Founder’s Collection Bourbon barrels, and Nicaraguan filler. Presented in a Toro size (6” x 52) with a suggested retail price of $15.99 per cigar, the full-bodied smoke offers nutty, earthy, and cocoa notes. Limited to 2,300 10-count boxes, it marks the fifth release in the Whiskey Row Founder’s Collection. “We’re thrilled to release another cigar in our Whiskey Row Founder’s Collection in collaboration with Rabbit Hole,” said Joe Krzyston, Assistant Brand Manager for Diesel. “This barrel-aged blend honors the history and legacy of Kentucky bourbon.”

The Pulled Pork cigar, inspired by North Carolina’s barbecue traditions, kicks off the Backyard Barbecue Series. It combines a Habano Rosado wrapper, Jalapa binder, and fillers from Jamastran, Esteli, and Condega. Available in a Robusto size (5” x 56) at $7.49 per cigar, it delivers earthy flavors with hints of charred wood and hazelnut. Production is capped at 2,000 10-count boxes. “The Diesel BBQ Pulled Pork is THE cigar of the summer,” Krzyston noted. “This unique seasonal offering is just in time for grilling season, with its rich and full-bodied flavor.”

Both releases will be available to retailers starting May 1, aligning with events like the Kentucky Derby and the start of grilling season.
