Cavalier Genève Cigars has revealed plans for a new core line, Project Broadleaf, set to debut at PCA 2025, alongside the introduction of their Limited Edition 2025 (LE2025). The announcements highlight the company’s focus on expanding its offerings with distinct releases throughout the year.
Project Broadleaf will feature four unique releases annually, each centered on a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The first, named Skywalker, is a 6×48 Parejo packaged in 50-count cabinets, with only 100 boxes produced each year. Of these, 75 will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at PCA 2025, priced at $15.60 per cigar. The wrapper undergoes a fermentation process lasting 3 to 3.5 years, with an additional year of resting. Shipping will begin immediately after the tradeshow for retailers securing orders.
The second release, Boartamer, measures 5.25×52 and comes in 10-count aluminum foil packs. A total of 500 bundles will be available globally, with pre-orders opening at PCA and shipping slated for early to mid-June 2025. Pricing is set at $14.60 per cigar. Details on the third and fourth releases remain under wraps, though all four are planned as recurring annual offerings with possible blend adjustments over time. “These cigars are some of the most intense and rich releases we’ve introduced so far, offering a bold new experience for our customers,” said Sébastien Decoppet, founder of Cavalier Genève Cigars.
In addition to Project Broadleaf, the company will showcase a pre-release of LE2025 at PCA 2025, with pre-orders opening during the event. This limited edition, a 6.25×50 Parejo with a closed foot and pigtail cap, follows the tradition of previous years with an undisclosed blend that won’t be repeated. Production totals 1,948 boxes of 10 cigars, with just over 1,000 allocated for U.S. retailers and about 900 for international markets. Priced at $16.70 per cigar, shipping is scheduled for July 2025.
All cigars are crafted at Cavalier Genève’s Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A. in Honduras. The PCA 2025 tradeshow will serve as the launch platform for both projects, offering a first look at these additions to the brand’s lineup.
