Punch Cigars is continuing its tradition of Lunar New Year releases with a new limited-edition cigar called Bottle Rocket. The cigar features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Nicaraguan Estelí binder, and Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Honduran fillers. It is available in a single size—4.5 x 50 figurado and has an SRP of $6.99.
Following last year’s firework-themed release, Dragon Fire, Bottle Rocket is packaged in a firework canister, with each cigar attached to its own firework stick. Each canister holds 20 cigars and features serpent imagery to represent The Year of the Snake, which begins on January 29.
Punch’s brand manager, Scott Abney, said, “Much like a firework, Punch Bottle Rockets are bold, visually striking, and have unexpected elements. Beyond the packaging and branding, the cigar is made with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper. Grab a pack of Bottle Rockets and celebrate the Lunar New Year.”
Punch Bottle Rocket is a full-bodied cigar with a spicy and peppery yet balanced flavor profile. It is handmade at HATSA in Honduras and will begin shipping to retailers on February 3, 2025.
