Warped Cigars has announced the launch of their latest project, New Day, a premium cigar created exclusively for 12 select retailer partners across the United States. This initiative marks a new chapter for the boutique cigar brand, embracing a collaborative process that empowered retailers to play a direct role in the creation of the final product.
For the first time in its history, Warped Cigars implemented a voting system among their retailer partners to select the blend and size of New Day. The company presented three unique blend options to participating retailers, each crafted with distinct filler, binder, and wrapper combinations. Without knowing the specific components of each option, the retailers cast their votes based solely on their sensory experiences and preferences. Once the majority vote was tallied, production began on the chosen blend.
The New Day cigar is crafted at Tabacalera La iSLA in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The selected blend features an Ecuadorian Sumatra Rosada wrapper, paired with a Nicaraguan binder and fillers, delivering a balanced and complex flavor profile. The cigars are offered in a Cñonazo size (5 7/8 x 52) and are packaged in elegant boxes of 15 cigars. With an MSRP of $14.75 per cigar, New Day combines exclusivity and craftsmanship.
To enhance the exclusivity of the project, production was capped at just 1,000 boxes. These are distributed among the 12 retailer partners, making New Day a highly sought-after addition for cigar enthusiasts. Shipping for the cigars began today, with each retailer receiving their allotment.
