J.C. Newman Cigar Co. has introduced the Personal Reserve Program, a custom cigar creation experience designed for enthusiasts. The program allows participants to work with a master blender to craft a unique cigar blend or choose from pre-selected staff options. These cigars are then hand-rolled at the company’s El Reloj cigar factory in Tampa, Florida.
Once rolled, the cigars are aged, wrapped in custom bands, and presented in personalized leather cabinet humidors. Customers can choose from two package options: 80 custom-blended cigars for $2,400 or 20 staff-blended cigars for $500.
“This program reflects our passion for blending cigars,” said Drew Newman, a fourth-generation owner of the company. “We wanted to offer connoisseurs the chance to create something truly personal.”
The process begins with a consultation, either in-person or online, where participants select from 24 tobaccos sourced from nine countries. Once the blend is finalized, the cigars are rolled, aged, and documented, with the process taking a minimum of six months. Each custom blend is stored in the company’s blend book, ensuring it can be recreated for future occasions.
