The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) has introduced the PCA Alliance, a new initiative aimed at broadening support for the premium cigar and pipe tobacco industryโ€™s advocacy efforts. Open to non-tobacco businesses and consumers, the PCA Alliance provides a way for supporters to contribute financially and participate in the organizationโ€™s advocacy work through the Industry Defense Fund.

PCA President Scott Regina noted that this initiative allows businesses and consumers to play a role in defending the premium tobacco industry against unfavorable legislation. The PCA Alliance offers two membership tiers: businesses ($250/year) and consumers ($99/year). Members will receive benefits such as legislative updates, advocacy guidance, and a subscription to PCA The Magazine.

Joshua Habursky, PCA Executive Director, emphasized the importance of involving a broader audience, including small businesses like golf courses and cigar lounges, in the association’s advocacy efforts.
