The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) has introduced the PCA Alliance, a new initiative aimed at broadening support for the premium cigar and pipe tobacco industryโs advocacy efforts. Open to non-tobacco businesses and consumers, the PCA Alliance provides a way for supporters to contribute financially and participate in the organizationโs advocacy work through the Industry Defense Fund.
PCA President Scott Regina noted that this initiative allows businesses and consumers to play a role in defending the premium tobacco industry against unfavorable legislation. The PCA Alliance offers two membership tiers: businesses ($250/year) and consumers ($99/year). Members will receive benefits such as legislative updates, advocacy guidance, and a subscription to PCA The Magazine.
Joshua Habursky, PCA Executive Director, emphasized the importance of involving a broader audience, including small businesses like golf courses and cigar lounges, in the association’s advocacy efforts.
