To celebrate its 50 years of innovation in the premium cigar industry, JR Cigar is launching the JR Revival series. This collection will take enthusiasts on a decade-by-decade journey, starting with the 1970s – the decade JR Cigar was founded. Each release in the series will feature blends popular during the respective era, handcrafted by factories active in that time period.

The first edition, JR Revival 70s, pays tribute to the smooth Dominican blends that defined the decade. Crafted at the iconic Quesada factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, this cigar features a rich combination of aged Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos, a Sumatran binder, and a golden-brown Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. After being aged for an additional year, the cigar delivers creamy coffee notes with a hint of nuts, leather, and a clean finish.

Available exclusively on JR Cigar’s website starting September 10, the JR Revival 70s comes in a themed box of 10, inspired by the bold racing car designs of the 70s, with a Toro size priced at $139.99 per box or $13.99 per cigar.

Nick Libretti, JR Cigar’s Exclusive Brand Manager, says, “Our goal was to revive vintage blends with a modern flair, allowing customers to appreciate where the industry started and where it is today.”
