This week on Flavor Odyssey, we start a two-part wildcard segment, beginning with Robby Ras challenging Randy Griggs to create a unique spin on his go-to cocktail: the Gin and Tonic. The audience is encouraged to create their own creative variation on the Gin and Tonic as well as finding the perfect cigar to round out the pairing.
Randy’s Gin & Tonic Recipe
- 4 drops saline
- 4 dashes orange bitters
- 1 oz tonic syrup
- 3/4 oz lime juice
- 3 oz gin
- Carbonated water (to taste)
Place all ingredients in a shaker, shake it like a Polaroid picture, pour it over ice, and top up with carbonated water in a 12 oz glass.
