Gurkha Cigar Group Inc has announced that the third installment of its Year of the Dragon series is now shipping to retailers.
The latest release, the Gurkha Year of the Dragon by Oliva Cigar Co., was first unveiled at the PCA (Premium Cigar Association) Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, in March. This four-part series is a collaborative effort with various renowned manufacturers in the industry. The first two releases, created in partnership with AJ Fernandez and Ernesto Pérez Carrillo, began shipping in April. The third installment is now officially available and en route to stores.
The Gurkha Year of the Dragon by Oliva Cigar Co. is a 6 1/2 x 60 Salomon presented in a 10-count Year of the Dragon Collector’s Edition humidor. The cigar, priced at $25.00 MSRP, features a San Andres wrapper, Cameroon binder, and Nicaraguan filler, and is made in Nicaragua by Oliva Cigar Company. The cigar is adorned with an orange band matching its box.
The fourth and final installment of the Year of the Dragon series, produced in collaboration with Oscar Valladares, is scheduled for release before the fall.
