E.P. Carrillo has announced the release of its latest addition to the Essence Series: the E.P. Carrillo Honduras. This new cigar promises a rich and complex flavor profile, representing a significant milestone as the first in the series to be crafted outside of Casa Carrillo. Produced at the Plasencia factory in Honduras, the cigar highlights a deep collaboration between the two renowned families.

Ernesto Perez-Carrillo III, who led the project, shared his excitement about this latest venture, noting the success of their previous collaboration on the INCH Nicaragua. The E.P. Carrillo Honduras features a Honduran Olancho San Agustín (OSA) wrapper, which has undergone a two-year fermentation process to achieve its distinctive dark, oily sheen. This, combined with Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers, offers a smoking experience that reflects the rich heritage and expertise of both families.

Available in three sizes—Robusto, Toro, and Gordo—the E.P. Carrillo Honduras will be priced between $9.25 and $10.75, with pre-orders starting in September and shipments expected by late September. This release is part of the broader Essence Series, which will expand with six unique blends over the coming years.
