Black Works Studio (BLK WKS) has unveiled the Hawaiian Tiger, an exclusive release in partnership with Hawaiian-based retailer R. Field Wine Co. The cigar is set to debut during a special event in Honolulu, featuring Black Works founder James Brown, on August 3, 2024.

Long a collaborative duo, Oveja Negra Brands (parent company of Black Works Studio) has released many exclusives with R. Field Wine Co. over the years, including the Ligero Hawaii, Hawaii KATO, Hawaii Hornet, and Aumakua.

“Really excited about our first exclusive in the Tiger series. We have done a lot of great cigars for R. Field over the years and now it’s time to take it to the next level. The Hawaiian Tiger has a rich, dark, earthy profile. It’s a complex blend of spice and dark fruit with prominent star anise notes on the finish,” said James Brown, creator of BLTC and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.

The Hawaiian Tiger will debut on Aug. 3rd, featuring a triple barber pole wrapper that includes Mexican San Andrés, Connecticut, and candela leaves. This unique cover surrounds an Ecuadorian Habano binder and all-Nicaraguan filler. The cigars were rolled in a single 5½” x 48 format, with 10-count boxes priced at $185 MSRP ($18.50 per cigar).
