E.P. Carrillo have announced the newest addition to its cigar lineup, the E.P. Carrillo Maduro. The E.P. Carrillo Maduro, released in three sizes – Robusto (5×50), Toro (6×52), and Gordo (6×60) – features a Mexican San Andres wrapper on top of a binder from Honduras, with fillers from Nicaragua. The MSRP for the Maduro will range from $9.25 for a Robusto, $10 for a Toro, to $10.75 for a Gordo, each in a 24 ct. box. Pre-orders are currently being accepted, with shipments scheduled to commence in late May to retailers.

The company aims to launch six blends in the new Essence series within the next two to three years, each distinguished by their unique and notable wrappers. The first to be announced was the E.P. Carrillo Sumatra which debuted at the 2024 PCA and ships to retailers at the same time as the Maduro (the second line introduced) in late May. In the second half of 2024, E.P. Carrillo will release the third Essence line, the Honduras blend. This will be followed by the introduction of the Connecticut, Nicaragua, and Cameroon blends in the subsequent years.

“I’m very excited of this particular blend, its different from anything I’ve done before in a Maduro. I encourage anyone who loves our cigars to try this one because it will also become one of your favorites.” said Ernesto Perez-Carrillo.
