United Cigar Group has announced the third addition to the company’s core-line United series, with the United Connecticut set to debut at the PCA trade show later this week.

Using a similar recipe to the former United Natural and United Maduro cigars, the United Connecticut sets itself apart with a high-priming Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper; this is joined by the line’s signature Dominican Broadleaf in the filler, said to “[open] an arena of body and complexity that the Ecuador Connecticut Shade wrapper rides alongside with for a fantastic voyage.”

“We originally crafted the United blend around beautiful Dominican Broadleaf tobacco,” said Oliver Nivaud of United Cigars. “Working with a superior wrapper, as oily and elegant as this, only made this blend graduate to the next level.”

The cigar will maintain the value-geared prices of former releases in the line, debuting in Robusto (5″ x 54), Toro (6″ x 54), and Churchill (7″ x 54) formats, with associated price points of $7, $8, and $9 MSRP. While making their appearances at the PCA trade show, the line will later ship at the beginning of April.
