For the third straight year, Espinosa and Guy Fieri team up for a limited Chef Special release, announcing the Knuckle Sandwich Chef Special 2024 to debut later this week at the 2024 PCA trade show in Las Vegas.
After launching the Knuckle Sandwich brand with restaurateur Guy Fieri in 2022, the duo followed up with the limited Chef Special variant, featuring a unique box-pressed figurado format. The same size returned for 2023, swapping the Habano wrapper of the original for an Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf.
There are more changes in store for the third release, as the cigars not only showcase a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, but the size has been changed to a a 6″ x 54 “Toro Oval.” Rolled out of A.J. Fernández’s San Lotano factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua, the cigars make use of all-Nicaraguan binder/fillers in addition to the Broadleaf wrapper.
“Every year we offer a new Chef Special, this year we took a break from the box-pressed Figurado and went with the oval soft press which has become, not only a favorite of mine, but with many Knuckle Sandwich smokers. This cigar will not disappoint!”, said Hector Alfonso.
The Knuckle Sandwich Chef Special 2024 increases production from the 2023 release by 500 boxes, offering 2,000 boxes of 10 for 2024. The cigars are priced at $16 MSRP, and will begin shipping in late April of this year.
