Pagoda 2023 Now Available Online

Following the in-person debut of Pagoda 2023, the cigars have now opened up nationwide through an exclusive online sale with Smoke Inn Cigars.

In recent years, the Dojo has made it an annual tradition to release a custom cigar project in collaboration with one of our favorite cigar manufacturers, debuting at the annual Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival each year. This year’s release is crafted out of the Aganorsa Leaf factory in Nicaragua, with the Pagoda theme alluding to a quasi “house blend” to suit the Dojo palate.

UPDATE: The Pagoda 2023 is now officially sold out. Nearly 100 bundles sold during the Dojo’s pre-party event at Dojo Studios on 8/24/23. Roughly 150 bundles then sold during the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival on 8/26/23. The final sale was handled nationally through Smoke Inn Cigars on 8/28/23, with 150 more bundles selling in under six hours.

Working closely with Aganorsa Leaf, Cigar Dojo selected a blend to embody the spirit of the Dojo. Everything from the size to the tobacco-growing regions combines to reflect the “Dojo doctrines” of positivity, kinship, and personal growth. The Pagoda 2023 cigar’s foundation begins with Criollo ’98 and Corojo ’99 leaves from Nicaragua. This is built upon with a reinforced frame, using not one but two leaves (Nicaraguan Corojo from Estelí and Jalapa) as the binder component. As with any self-respecting pagoda, the roof is the defining feature, materializing in the form of a bright, rich Corojo ’99 wrapper from Nicaragua.

Pagoda 2023 is medium in body and medium-full in flavor, being naturally sweet, clean and refreshing on the palate. The cigar is rolled in a thin 6″ x 48 toro format (one of our favorites), being concentrated in flavor yet maintaining a clean draw. Core flavors include notes of cedar, sweet florals, malt, and sweet marzipan through the finish that keeps you coming back for more!

While the initial launch of 250 bundles sold in-person at RMCF, the remaining 150 bundles have been set aside to allow cigar enthusiasts across the country a crack at the Dojo’s own house-style Pagoda 2023 blend.
