Dating back to 2015, Warped has often showcased limited variations of the Flor del Valle brand, beginning with the fan-favorite Sky Flower and later including the Moon Garden, among others.
The latest variation combines elements of the aforementioned sub-releases, being dubbed Sky Moon. This cigar is described as being made as a personal blend for Warped owner/founder, Kyle Gellis, and was later handed out personally at events.
Kyle has now made a larger run of the Sky Moon, being classified as a “single production limited run.” The cigars use the unique 109-style head found on limited projects out of the Aganorsa Leaf factory from time to time, though this cigar required custom molds to be made in order to showcase the shape in a 5½” x 42 size dubbed Corona 109.
As fans have come to expect from the Sky Flower, the cigars utilize the rare medio tiempo priming in the filler, being harvested from Nicaragua’s Jalapa growing region. This leaf is joined by Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98 throughout the binder and filler, being topped with a shade-grown Corojo ’99 wrapper from Jalapa.
This is a full bodied blend, make no mistake, it showcases both the unique flavor profiles of Sky Flower and Moon Garden including the strength and body of Sky Flower. All tobaccos are AGANORSA and rolled at Aganorsa Leaf in Esteli, Nicaragua.
Warped Sky Moon is packaged in boxes of 50 cigars, with 500 boxes slated to begin shipping to retailers this Monday, July 3rd. The Sky Moon is priced at $11/cigar MSRP.
