General Cigar Co. have announced a new line extension in the Chillin’ Moose family with a Connecticut called Shady Moose featuring an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper.

Shipping to retailers on March 1, Shady Moose will launch as a full-time line with three new sizes, including the first Toro for the growing Chillinโ€™ Moose trio. Handcrafted in Honduras at the HATSA factory, Shady Moose is a six-country blend wrapped in Ecuadorian Connecticut, with a Mexican binder and a selection of long filler tobacco from the US, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

โ€œWith Shady Moose, we built a great, anytime, anywhere blend that takes the smooth-smoking properties of a Connecticut Shade cigar and amps it up with the right amount of complexity and spice. And we didnโ€™t stop there. We added in the cool Moose imagery and locked in an unbelievable price point. Now weโ€™re waiting for Shady Moose to take a run at the internet, just like Bull Moose did last year. Weโ€™re ready for it. The question isโ€ฆare you?โ€ said John Hakim, brand manager of Chillinโ€™ Moose.

Shady Moose cigars will be distributed by Forged Cigar Company.

The cigars will be packed in boxes containing 20 cigars.
