Cigar Dojo Partners with Espinosa for Unique Cigar Travel Kit

Twenty twenty-two marks the 10th anniversaries of both Espinosa Premium Cigars and Cigar Dojo. Helping to commemorate the occasion, the two have collaborated on the Cigar Dojo Travel Kit, a unique presentation of two of the most beloved cigars from each company: Espinosa Habano and Sensei’s Sensational Sarsaparilla.

It’s no secret that the Dojo community (aka DOJONATION) has long shared a certain affinity for Espinosa and the company’s associated La Zona factory. Now, fans will get a taste of the Espinosa Habano (Cigar Dojo’s No. 1 Cigar of the Year in 2012) and Sensei’s Sensational Sarsaparilla, packaged together in a Dojo-themed travel kit. Additionally, both cigars have been rolled in Espinosa’s signature Rabito format for the first time in either blend. The size is a 6″ x 48 toro, complete with a twisted pigtail head.

Eric Guttormson, owner of Cigar Dojo, commented, “The Espinosa Habano has always been one of my favorite cigars, and the Sarsaparilla is a legendary Dojo blend. For our 10th year, we really wanted to highlight these two cigars with a very special 6″ x 48 Rabito vitola.”

The Cigar Dojo Travel Kit is unlike your conventional travel humidor, forgoing the hard plastic build for a more lightweight, durable material. The unit is secured with a rugged zipper, and Cigar Dojo’s vibrant orange palette and graphics are featured front and center. Inside the kit are five Espinosa Habano cigars and five Sensei’s Sensational Sarsaparilla cigars. Finally, a mesh liner allows for easy storage of accessories such as lighters and cutters.

“We launched Espinosa Premium Cigars around the same time as Cigar Dojo in early 2012,” noted Erik Espinosa, owner of Espinosa Premium Cigars. “The Dojo awarded our Espinosa Habano their No. 1 spot that year, and our two companies have had a close relationship ever since. We wanted to give our loyal fanbases something special to mark our decade milestones, and the Cigar Dojo Travel Kit hits it out of the park.”

Starting this Friday, the Cigar Dojo Travel Kit will become available exclusively through online retailer Neptune Cigars. Each kit includes 10 cigars (five of each blend), being limited to 1,000 Travel Kits in existence. The Cigar Dojo Travel Kits are set to retail for $109, though Dojo members can take advantage of Neptune’s popular Spin the Wheel feature with Cigar Dojo, where you are given three chances to receive a discount of up to 18 percent off (making the Travel Kit only $89!).
