After nearly a year since its announcement, 7-20-4 is now shipping The Hustler Five & Dime cigar to retailers.
As the company is known to use concepts surrounding the original New Hampshire-based 7-20-4 factory of the 1800s, the Hustler Five & Dime honors “the history of the 5 and 10 cent cigars manufactured in NH back in 1874.”
The Hustler Five & Dime was one of roughly a dozen limited brands offered exclusively to retailers that attended the 2021 PCA trade show, though supply line issues had delayed the release until now. The cigars are rolled at the J. Fuego Cigar Co. de Nicaragua factory in a singular 6″ x 52 toro format, featuring a barber pole wrapper (Mexican San Andrés / Brazilian Habano), Sumatra binder, and fillers of Pennsylvania, Estelí, and Jalapa.
Kurt Kendall, president of 7-20-4 Cigars commented “Despite the bottlenecks, we have hit in the cigar industry with production, printing, and shipping cigars, we are grateful for all the patience from everyone and the hard work from everyone participating in rolling out the Five & Dime. Everything in the shipment which arrived in Miami is ready to head to our Brick & Mortar partners. We are truly humbled by its success.”
Now shipping to retailers, The Hustler Five & Dime cigar is limited to 1,000 boxes of 10 cigars, priced at $12.50 MSRP per cigar.
