General Cigar Co. under the Punch brand has announced the Fu Manchu. The new size marks the fourth release in the brandโs Chinese New Year Series. Punch Fu Manchu is a follow up to 2021โs Kung Pow!, 2020โs Chop Suey and 2019โs Punch Egg Roll.
Ed Lahmann, senior brand manager of Punch and the creator of Fu Manchu said, โPunch is keeping its Chinese New Year tradition alive. For the 2022 release, we went old school, replicating a maniacal kung fu masterโs white hair and long goatee with a blonde cap and extended pigtail. Whether youโre watching Kung Fu Theatre or karate kicking back with friends, Fu Manchu breaks bricks on both flavor and price. Have fun with this one. It will go quickly.โ
Handmade at HATSA in Danli, Honduras, Fu Manchu is a five-country blend featuring a Dominican, Nicaraguan and Mexican filler, an Indonesian binder and a Honduran Habano wrapper.

The cigars are box-pressed and come in 20-count bundles placed inside a takeout-style soup container box with a visual shout out to the Year of the Tiger. Limited to 6,400 boxes, Fu Manchu will ship to brick and mortar locations across the country on February 1, which is the day the Year of the Tiger begins.
Punch Fu Manchu comes in one vitola which is a 6×50 Toro and has a suggested retail price of $5.99
