Black Works Studio—the more experimental, artistic wing of Oveja Negra Brands—has announced a second release of Aumakua for the Hawaiian market.

The Aumakua uses a primary wrapper of Mexican San Andrés, as well as barber pole-like highlights of an Ecuadorian sun-grown leaf. These cover leaves are secured over an Ecuadorian Habano binder and all-Nicaraguan fillers.

“Aumakua is an exclusive For R.Field Wine Co. After much anticipation we are excited to release this for a second time,” said James Brown, creator of BLTC and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.

The cigars will be offered in a singular 5½” x 48 format, retailing at an MSRP of $10. The cigars are offered exclusively through R. Field Wine Co., a common partner for small-batch releases with many of the industry’s more prominent boutique-style brands.
