Warped Cigars is now shipping a new brand known as Companion to its retailers globally.

The cigars follow Warped’s most recent Chinchalle release (which hit retail in Sept.), being rolled at the Tabacalera La Isla factory (recently opened by Hostos Fernandez Quesada) in Santiago, DR. Companion’s blend differs significantly from the majority of Warped’s lineup, using primarily Dominican tobaccos (20% Nicaraguan, 80% Dominican) and being topped with the highest quality Mexican San Andrés wrapper.

Warped owner, Kyle Gellis, noted in a press release, “After 14 years in the cigar industry and blending, I have only used San Andres wrapper once before, with El Oso MaMa at El Titan de Bronze, and the reason I never used it until now was simply I could not find the quality that stood up to Warped standards. When I was in Santiago and sourcing material for a few of our new blends, I came across this wrapper and instantly knew this was something I wanted to work with. The aroma is was giving off drew me in but once I tasted it, we ordered the tobacco on the spot.”

Warped Companion is now shipping to retailers in a singular 4½” x 48 format. The cigars are packaged in boxes of 25 cigars, priced at $12 MSRP.
