Black Label Trading Company (BLTC) is set to bring back one of the company’s first releases, Benediction, which has been revamped as an exclusive for Smoker’s Abbey tobacconist locations throughout Austin, Memphis, and Nashville.
The BLTC Benediction first launched in 2013, but the blend and packaging have been revisited for the modern era. This includes a look more in line with the company’s updated aesthetic, as well as more spice in the tobacco blend.
“Benediction is back! Very excited for the launch of the new Benediction for the Smokers Abbey stores,” says James Brown, creator of BLTC and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra. “I created new artwork to reflect the aesthetics of the shops that combine perfectly with our BLTC design style. We’ve established a great relationship with the owners of Smokers Abbey over the years and have appreciated their support of our brands since the beginning. This just felt like a natural fit for our next shop exclusive. This release is a tweak of the original Benediction in two new vitolas. We stayed true to the original blend in body, strength and wrapper but added a touch more spice and complexity.”
The cigars are scheduled to ship later this month, offered in two formats that are priced at $10 and $11 apiece.
