Camacho Cigars today announced their latest release as the Camacho Factory Unleashed, being themed around their newly-built Diadema Cigars de Honduras, S.A. factory in Danlí, Honduras and the associated Camp Camacho experience.
The cigars make use of a diverse recipe, including Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Dominican fillers, a Honduran binder, and an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper. Additionally, the cigar’s wrapper is cut back, offering a shaggy foot that allows hobbyists to experience the flavor change as this leaf kicks in.
We couldn’t possibly name a cigar after our factory without packing it with the high-octane strain we have been preserving for over six decades, the legendary Corojo tobacco. […] The shaggy foot allows the flavors of these Corojo tobaccos to impart their earthy and spicy journey. When the binder and wrapper meet, the full-frontal notes are complimented by rich creaminess, peppery and bold cedar notes.
Camacho Factory Unleashed is billed as a limited, annual release, with the first installment being offered in a singular 6″ x 50 toro size. The cigars are packaged in two formats: 100-count rustic wooden crates (limited to 1,000) and 10-count paper wrapped bundles (limited to 2,500), combining for a total of 125,000 cigars.
Priced at $7.80 MSRP/cigar, Factory Unleashed will debut at the end of May, alongside a new digital Camp Camacho platform for consumers.
